There are many things to keep in your head if you wish to improve your armwrestling skills.
- Always keep the armwrestling safe and stay away from a break arm position!
- Warm up properly and stop training if you feel pain.
- Remember to rest/recover so you don't break yourself.
- Go over the steps in the technique slowly and repeat before you use to much power.
- Table time is important but don't forget weight training
- Find your weakness and strenght and work hard to improve
In a real match the start is often where you win or loose!
Since this site is to improve your armwrestling I will give you this:
E = mc2
Now you thinking I'm crazy... It is Einsteins formula.
But what it is saying is: The energy (E) is made up by the mass (m) multiplied by the speed in square. E are the total power. Mass is the "muscle power" you use and the c is just the speed you preform it with.
So if you whant to generate a power of 200kg on your opponents arm you can do it by pressing with 200kg and the speed of 1 // 200x12 = 200 // or you can be quicker and use a speed of 5 and just a pressing power of 8kg!
Now you think this is sick. But 8 x 52 = 200
So by just using speed you will generate much more instant power and will be able to take down really strong opponents!
Ofcourse when a stronger opponent "catch" your arm this power will decrease. BUT the important thing here is to illustrate the importance of speed!
All power sports have something to learn from the laws of physics! |
